Nature is our foundation for life. It is were we get resources to cover our needs, physical as well as psychological. This applies not the least to the most basic needs such as fresh air, clean water and food.
On this tour you get a small insight to the "tasty" part of the island's wild nature. While you can quickly fill your lungs with fresh air and your drinking bottle with clean water, you must not count on getting your basket full of goodies on the tour. It usually requires both time and patience to gather nature's gifts in the form og herbs, berries, mushrooms and more. However you can rely on getting plenty of opportunity to gather knowledge, ideas and inspiration to go on your own tours.
Where we go and what we gather depends on the season and time of the year.
In spring and early summer, we often go to the saltmarshes and dunes to find herbs and flowers.
In late summer and autumn, we often go to the forest and the heath to find mushrooms and berries.
We gather gently, but you still get plenty of opportunity to taste nature's little delicacies. At the same time, you also get the stories and anecdotes that are linked to them - because what are actually fakes and facts?
