Practical information:
Dress for the weather – it often feels colder out on the oyster bed as there is no shelter from the wind!
Warm, windproof clothing that can get dirty, possibly rain trousers as you can get quite muddy, and long-shafted wellington boots.
Work gloves, such as knitted ‘dot gloves’, are essential as the oyster shells are razor-sharp. A bucket or cloth bag to collect the oysters in. And possibly an oyster knife.
The guide will have gloves, buckets and oyster knives available for purchase; payment can be made in cash or via MobilePay.

The parkinglot at Juvre Engsø.
Turn down the gravel road (Svend Bleegsvej) just after Juvrevej 84; there is a sign pointing towards Mandøpigen. Follow the gravel road down to the embankment, where there is a large parkinglot.
