Rømø

Rømø is the largest island in the Wadden Sea National Park. Here, you can gaze into the distance and truly feel nature.

On the journey across the 10-kilometer-long causeway, you can experience the stunning Wadden Sea up close. Twice a day, vast areas of the seabed are exposed, revealing an enormous feeding ground for the millions of migratory birds in the area.

Rømø offers both the Wadden Sea and the North Sea. On the island's west side, you'll find some of Europe's widest and most beautiful sandy beaches, where the waves of the North Sea crash and invite you for a swim.

The island's landscape is both beautiful and rugged, clearly shaped by the sun, wind, and tides. Rolling dune landscapes, open heaths, and low woodlands stretch across the entire island.

Rømø offers stunning nature experiences for everyone.
