Tide

There are 6 hours and 12 minutes between high- and lowtide

The tide in the Wadden Sea is quite remarkable and significant. Approximately twice a day, large parts of the seabed laid dry, which creates opportunities for adventure trips on the mudflats.

The difference between Low – and Hightide is  1.5 meters on average in the Danish part of the Wadden Sea, But the wind and the moon also play a big role on the water level. Sometimes the the water level are so high, that we have to cancel our arranged tours.
