Kite building

Come and build your own beautiful kite. If the wind is good, you can even make the first test flight on the lawn just outside the nature center, otherwise you must go to the beach, where it is almost always windy.

A good and stable westerly wind often blows across Rømø, and especially the wide beaches on the island are the perfect place to fly a kite.

Its fun and cozy to build your own kite. We have templates and materials ready, so you can easily get started. Let your imagianetion run wild when decorating the dragon with a tail and other things. If the kite makes trouble, we are ready to help and guide you - also if you want to try to get it in the air right away.
