When you have found just the right piece of amber, we are ready with sandpaper, polishing cloths and - paste. You get advice and guidance in making a beutiful pendant for a necklace or a nice pocket stone.
It is both cozy and relaxing to grind amber and while you immerse yourself in the work, you create your very own personal souvenir.
In our exhibition you can also see a large lump of copal, about 10 million years old, which was given to us by a local fisherman, who caught it in his net. Copal is also known as immature amber. It is "young" amber that needs a few million years more to become fully fossilized.
We almost always have time and room, if you would like to grind amber - also outside the schedule. So, feel free to drop by!
The price is for 1 piece of amber.
