Taste the Wadden Sea’s wild larder

Grab your basket and join us out in the countryside. Rømø’s natural landscape is full of surprises, and on this tour we invite you to sample the island’s wild produce.
On our foraging tour, we’ll look at, smell and taste everything the season has to offer right now – from the salty salt marsh herbs to the heathland’s wild berries and the mushrooms on the forest floor.
The focus isn’t on filling your basket to the brim with produce, but on giving you an educational experience and inspiration on how you can find and use nature’s larder at home. We’ll share practical tips on how to use the plants in your own cooking, how best to store them, and what they’ve traditionally been used for, for example in folk medicine.
We’ll teach you how to forage sustainably, so that together we can look after nature.
