It’s windy on Rømø – let’s make the most of it
There’s often a good, steady westerly wind blowing across Rømø, and the island’s wide beaches in particular are the perfect place to fly a kite. Come and build your own beautiful kite. We have templates and materials ready, so you can easily get started on building and decorating your very own kite. You choose the colours, patterns, tail and other details yourself, so the kite gets its very own look.
Building a kite is a fun family activity where children, parents and grandparents can get together to be creative. There’s time for togetherness, teamwork and plenty of cosy moments as you build, decorate and get the kite ready to fly.
Everyone can join in – regardless of age or experience – making the activity a fun way to create shared holiday memories. Once the kite is finished, the whole family can take it to the beach at Rømø and experience the joy of watching your homemade kite soar in the wind. If there’s enough wind, you’ll of course want to test-fly it on the lawn in front of Tønnisgaard.
The price is per kite, and as many of you as you like can join in building it.
