On the tour, we’ll cover the Wadden Sea in depth, and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way. We’ll dig into the mudflats – both literally and figuratively – so we can get our hands on the fascinating organisms that live here, but also gain an understanding of the area’s unique significance for the world’s natural environment.
For the Wadden Sea is a world-class natural wonder. So come along on a trip out onto the mudflats and experience a diversity of life. Understand the tides and their significance for the region’s nature and landscape, meet some of the mudflats’ inhabitants, and learn why the area has been designated a World Heritage Site.
The tour is intended for adults and families with older children aged around 10 and above. However, everyone is welcome, young and old alike, as it is possible to join and leave the group with younger children if their ‘patience’ with the talkative guide occasionally runs out.
