It's a truly unique experience to walk on the mudflats, surrounded by horizon and sky, picking oysters to eat. Join our nature guide to the oyster banks on Rømø's mudflats, and the pantry will open up.
After gathering oysters on the mudflats, we'll return to the grill cabin at the Nature Center, where our stone oven will be lit, and a table set with organic and local ingredients for oyster preparation.
There will be a brief introduction to taste, ingredients, preparation, etc., after which, under guidance, you'll prepare the oysters with the delicious ingredients.
We'll enjoy the oysters together as they're ready, paired with an organic sparkling wine that complements this fantastic and extremely flavorful delicacy.
The Nature Center Tønnisgård reserves the right to cancel the trip with 1 day's notice due to weather conditions. In this case, the tour price will be refunded, excluding ticket/transaction fees. For ticket refunds, cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the start of the tour.
