The saltmarshes are heavily influenced by the sea. Come along and experience the exciting flowers and herbs that are adapted to this salty and distinctive environment.
Along the way, we gently gather some of the herbs that we intend to use later as toppings. The tour ends in the barbecue hut at Tønnisgård, where every guest has the opportunity to prepare and enjoy a couple of delicious Wadden Sea hotdogs, with lamb sausages from the Rømø butcher. In addition to the freshly picked herbs from the saltmarsh, there is homemade ketchup, mayonnaise, pickled and raw red onions, which can be used as topping on sausage and bread as desired.
